Starting on 1 June 2021, MovieZone Short Film Festival in China offers a selection of Slovak short films curated in collaboration with the National Cinematographic Centre of the Slovak Film Institute and Film and TV Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava.

This year’s edition of International Documentary Festival Fipadoc Biarritz in France is focusing on Visegrad countries.
The biennal film event Slovak Film Days in Moscow starts on Monday, 7 December 2020. The showcase based on the contract on cultural cooperation between the Slovak and the Russian Ministry of Culture will run until Sunday, 13 December and will present seven Slovak films.

Czech and Slovak Film Festival in Australia that usually takes place in Autumn/Australian Spring moved its 8th Melbourne edition to early Winter/Australian Summer 2020 and changed the usual cinema theatres for Village Cinemas Coburg Drive-In and online platform.
The 24th Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival (October 27 – November 8, 2020) will take place online. The program will feature several Slovak and co-production films including three world premieres.
