ScripTeast is a year-long training programme designed specifically for experienced scriptwriters from Central and Eastern Europe. For the 2018-2019 edition, Tereza Nvotová and Barbora Námerová have been selected to further develop their film project The Nightsiren.
Following successful presentation of the upcoming documentary by Lucia Kašová The Sailor at the 24th Meeting Point – Vilnius, Slovak film producer Nazarij Kľujev will take part in this year’s edition of Marché du Film Industry Workshop.

Slovak short films will be presented at the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival (Feb 1 – 9, 2019), one of the world’s largest and most prestigious film festival dedicated to short films. Thanks to co-operation with Czech Film Center and Slovenian Film Centre, Slovak Film Institute will attend the Short Film Market (Feb 4 – 7, 2019) for the first time in history under the umbrella of Central European Cinema.
Perhaps the most significant event dedicated to short films is starting in Clermont-Ferrand tomorrow. The prestigious International Short Film Festival (27. 1. – 4. 2. 2012) will welcome a Slovak representative, as well.
The International Short Film Festival Clermont-Ferrand (4. – 12. 2. 2011) will present the animation musical Stones by Katarína Kerekesová within the programme of its 33rd edition.
