Perhaps the most significant event dedicated to short films is starting in Clermont-Ferrand tomorrow. The prestigious International Short Film Festival (27. 1. – 4. 2. 2012) will welcome a Slovak representative, as well.
The combination animation – live action film by Ivana Laučíková and Martin Snopek The Last Bus premiered in the Short Film Competition at the Art Film Fest IFF in June 2011. The film was also successful at the Animateka festival, where it received the Gran Prix Maestro Award. At Clermont-Ferrand festival it will compete in the International Competition section.
Last year, Slovakia was represented at this event by the animation musical by Katarína Kerekesová Stones.
