Six Slovak films were presented at the 48th Annecy International Animated Film Festival (9-15 June 2024). Three of them won awards at the festival.
In the Contrechamps Feature Film section, the Jury Prize went to Living Large, directed by Kristina Dufková and produced by NOVINSKI.
Director and producer Martin Smatana won the Young Audience Award for his short film Hello Summer, which he co-directed with Veronika Zacharová. In 2019 he received the same award for the film The Kite.
The short animated film Hurikán, directed by Jan Saska and produced by Artichoke, won the Audience Award.
