Better Go Mad in the Wild wins the Crystal Globe at KVIFF

The Czech-Slovak documentary Better Go Mad in the Wild by Slovak director and producer Miro Remo (production company Arsy-Versy) won the main prize, the Crystal Globe, at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. The film, based on the book of the same name by Aleš Palán, follows the magical world of twins Franta and Ondra living in solitude in the Šumava region in the southwest of the Czech Republic. The Czech-Slovak feature film Broken Voices, directed by Ondřej Provazník and produced on Slovak side by Ivan Ostrochovský of Punkchart films, won two awards. The international jury awarded debutant Kateřina Falbrová a Special Mention for her acting performance, and the film also won the Europa Cinemas Label Jury Award.
