Two Slovak films have advanced to the pre-selection of 67 feature-length films for the 38th edition of the European Film Awards, based on the voting of the members of the European Film Academy (EFA).
At the 41st Warsaw Film Festival (October 10 – 19, 2025), three feature-length Slovak films — both majority and minority co-productions — will be screened, all in their Polish premieres. In addition, three Slovak projects in development and post-production will be presented as part of the festival’s industry section.

Young Horizons IFF, the largest Polish film festival dedicated to films and series for young audiences, will take place this year from September 26 to October 5 in Warsaw, Wrocław, and 18 other cities. The event also includes the Young Horizons Industry platform, offering a diverse program for film professionals. The 12th edition of the event will once again feature Slovak films and filmmakers.
