
The importatnt moment for Slovak film will be the distribution preview screening of Koza (d. Ivan Ostrochovský) before its entering the Czech cinemas in the autumn of 2015. The film will be screened within the section AČFK Presents.
The most significant representation of Slovak film will take part in the section Visegrad Horizon – New Visegrad Films where will be presented the recent Slovak film titles. The visitors will be able to see documentary film about released prisoners trapped into vicious circle Comeback (dir. Miro Remo), successful film Children (dir. Jaro Vojtek), debut feature film Home Care (dir. Slávek Horák), two feature animated films Litlle from the Fish Shop (dir. Jan Balej) and The Little Man (dir. Radek Beran), co-production modern westren Mirage (dir. Szabolcs Hajdu) and documentary film about outstanding generation of Slovak photographers wave vs. shore (dir. Martin Štrba)
Visegrad Horizon – Theme: War Over? celebrates the 70th anniversary of the German capitulation and the end of WWII. Within the section will be screened Sitting on a Branch, Enjoying Myself by Juraj Jakubisko.
Section Special Screenings will honour the Slovak filmmaker Paľo Bielik. His films Master Executioner and Forty-Four Mutineers appear in the programme. Within the section will be also screened another important title Midnight Mass (dir. Jiří Krejčík)
RWE Open Air Cinema as integral part of LFS will introduce Slovak film Hostage (dir. Juraj Nvota)
Almost all films will be personally present by the filmmakers: Jan Balej (Little from the Fish Shop), Radek Beran (The Little Man), Jaro Vojtek (Children), Zora Jaurová (Children), Mátyás Prikler (Children, Mirage), Marek Leščák (Children, Koza), Ivan Ostrochovský (Koza), Miro Remo (Comeback), Martin Palúch (Midnight Mass, Master Executioner, Forty-Four Mutineers, Sitting on a Branch, Enjoying Myself) and the delegation of film Home Care: Rudolf Suchánek, Jan Šťastný, Jan Gogola, Slávek Horák, Alena Mihulová, Bolek Polívka.
The festival shop in Hvězda theatre will also offer publications and DVD released by the Slovak FIlm Institute.
Organizers of the LFS Uherské Hradište is the Association of Czech Film Clubs (AČFK). Partners and co-organizers of the Slovak participation at the LFS are Association of Slovak Film Clubs (ASFK) with support of Slovak Audiovisual Fund and the Slovak Film Insitute.
