Slovak films at SOFA ZONE 2012 during the Summer Olympic Games in London
25. July 2012

Just seconds away from the beautiful Regents Park and London ZOO, or only 25 minutes travel distance from the Olympic Village, the fans will have a chance to “taste” also a little bit of Slovak culture. The programme will include concerts, live broadcasts from the Olympics, interesting guests, but also Slovak films: all of this within the SOFA ZONE – Slovak Official Fan Zone in London.

The fans and supporters of Slovak cinema can look forward to Blind Loves (dir. Juraj Lehotský), Osadné (dir. Marko Škop), Lóve (2011, by Jakub Kroner), The Sun in a Net (dir. Štefan Uher) and Jánošík (dir. Jaroslav Siakeľ).

SOFA ZONE is organized by Pishter, in co-operation with the Association for Contemporary Art – KOLOMAŽ, in the co-operation with the Slovak Film Institute and with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic.
