The renowned industry platforms Young Horizons Industry and Cinekid for Professionals have joined forces for the fifth time to prepare a special programme for producers who are starting out in the field of audiovisual creation for children’s audiences. This year’s Producers LINK programme will also feature Slovak producer Radka Machalová.
The special programme Producers LINK, designed for producers starting out in the field of audiovisual content production for children, is a joint initiative of the industry events Young Horizons Industry in Warsaw (September 28 – October 1, 2025) and Cinekid for Professionals in Amsterdam (October 21 – 24, 2025). Twenty-one selected producers from fifteen countries will take part in a series of meetings, workshops, film project presentations, masterclasses, and discussion panels.
The aim of the programme is to support the production of high-quality children’s content through international talent workshops, co-production markets, promotion, networking, and knowledge exchange via discussion programs. Both events serve as key platforms for emerging production companies and producers who wish to focus on creating content for children. Young Horizons Industry focuses primarily on Central, Southern, and Eastern Europe, while Cinekid has a Europe-wide and broader international scope.
This year’s Slovak representative at both events will be Radka Machalová from the production company Bright Sight Pictures. The Producers LINK programme is supported by the Slovak Film Institute.
