This year Kids Kino Industry and Cinekid for Professionals join forces to launch Producers LINK, a newly established programme for emerging producers of children’s content. Slovak director and producer Martin Smatana will take part in the programme.
The training and networking programme will take place during the industry events Kids Kino Industry in Warsaw (September 28 – October 1, 2021) and Cinekid for Professionals in Amsterdam (October 19 – 22, 2021). The intensive workshops will provide the 25 selected participants with plenty of opportunities to extend their skills in subjects such as audience developing and digital marketing. A great emphasis of the programme is being placed on networking and exchanging experiences as well as establishing new contacts. In addition to a specially designed programme, the selected producers will also take part in the pitching presentations, masterclasses and panels, which are a regular part of the industry for both events.
Slovak director and producer Martin Smatana (Studio BORORO) will take part in the programme. His short animated films Rosso Papavero (2014) and The Kite (2019) were world premiered at the prestigious Berlinale.
