The second part of the Garden Store trilogy takes place against the backdrop of revolutionary events in 1947-1953. Otto Bock, the owner of the stylish hairdresser’s salon Valentino in downtown Prague and his family, which he employs, are the main characters. The company is his life’s purpose and he returns after the hardships of war with his wife and her sisters. They reconstruct their dream with great enthusiasm, but another blow arrives – the communist coup in February 1948. Otto’s company is expropriated by the state and his world falls apart for the second time…

Druhý diel trilógie Záhradníctvo sa odohráva na pozadí revolučných udalostí v rokoch 1947-1953. Hlavnou postavou je majiteľ štýlového kaderníckeho salónu Valentino v centre Prahy, Otto Bock, a jeho rodina, ktorú tu zamestnáva. Firma je pre neho zmyslom života a po vojnovom utrpení sa vracia späť aj so svojou manželkou a jej sestrami. Všetci s obrovským nadšením budujú svoj sen, ale prichádza ďalšia rana – februárový komunistický prevrat. Ottova firma je vyvlastnená štátom a jemu sa po druhýkrát rozpadá svet…
